Based on Stirling Highway, in Nedlands, our law firm practices exclusively in the areas of family law, mediation & family dispute resolution and, wills and estate planning.

Davies & Co Lawyers represent Australian clients both locally and interstate, but we are also able to help overseas clients in Australian Family Court proceedings.

We are able to provide ‘face to face’ meetings to our clients in Perth, but we also offer telephone and Zoom meetings for the convenience of those clients who cannot make it into our office, or who are based interstate, overseas or in rural and remote areas.

Mark Davies

Lawyer, Mediator & Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner

Davies & Co Lawyers was established our Principal, Mark Davies, to create an enduring, preeminent family law firm in Perth, Western Australia, with a focus on providing premium family law advice and representation as well as mediation and family dispute resolution services to its clients.

Mark was awarded a Bachelor of Laws (with Honours) at the University of Leeds in England. In 2009, he emigrated to Australia and completed a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice at the University of Western Australia.

Mark is admitted as a lawyer of the Supreme Court of Western Australia, a barrister and solicitor of the High Court of Australia and a solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales. He is a member of the Law Society of Western Australia , the Law Society of England and Wales and the Family Law Practitioners Association of Western Australia.

Mark is also an accredited Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner , a Nationally Accredited Mediator and a member of the Australian Institute of Family Law Arbitrators and Mediators.

In his capacity as a family lawyer, Mark is a member of the Family Law Panel , Dispute Resolution Panel and Restraining Order Panel of Legal Aid Western Australia.

In his capacity as a Nationally Accredited Mediator and Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner, Mark sits as a Chairperson at the Alternative Dispute Resolution Unit of Legal Aid Western Australia (parenting arrangements matters and property settlement).

Thea Davies

Office Manager

Thea helped establish Davies & Co Lawyers with Mark. Since that time, she has been the first point of contact for many clients.

Thea has a background in customer relations and administration. She supports Mark and is responsible for all office IT, accounts and personnel.

Sabrina Orczech

Paralegal

Sabrina is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) at The University of Notre Dame and is expected to graduate at the end of 2024. Sabrina comes from a family law background and intends to continue to develop her skills in this area following graduation. She intends to write her undergraduate thesis on Family and Domestic Violence.

Sabrina joined the team at Davies & Co Lawyers as a Paralegal in July 2022.

Emilia Cottino

Paralegal

Emilia is in her penultimate year of a double degree studying a Bachelor of Commerce/Bachelor of Laws at the University of Notre Dame, graduating end of 2025. With a particular interest in family law through her studies and volunteer work Emilia continues to expand her skills and knowledge at the firm.

Emilia joined Davies & Co Lawyers as a Paralegal in February 2024.

Alicia Dharani

Paralegal

Alicia commenced study at the University of Notre Dame mid-2022. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Laws and is expected to graduate mid-2026.

Outside of her studies, Alicia broadens her legal understanding through participation in university extracurriculars such as mooting, mock trials and client interviews and enjoys contributing to community life as a member of her university’s law student association.

Alicia joined the team at Davies & Co Lawyers as a Paralegal in February 2024.
